MA in Early Childhood, Early Years Teacher Status, BSc Psychology
Helen is an Early Years Teacher with a degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. Helen has over 15 years experience working across the birth to five age range. Helen has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychoanalytic Observational Studies with a focus on infant and young child observation. Having completed RIE® Foundations™, Helen is currently working with RIE® Associate and Mentor, Deborah Carlisle Solomon as a RIE® Practicum™ Student. Through her studies and experience, Helen places great emphasis on the need to be aware of and understand the emotional challenges that young children face on a daily basis, and the importance of sensitive and respectful care and support from the adults around them. In her spare time Helen loves splashing in puddles.
